Dameon reached out and grabbed the bills, saying "Thanks," and nodding as he slid them into his wallet. Noticing how Sleeves seemed to feel about the situation, he said "At least this buisness is over with, Sleeves." Looking off for a short moment, he added, "Well, I guess I'll be off now. I've got places to be tomorrow," and began heading off down the road, back towards where his small apartment was.

Stepping back to the truck, Sleeves slid into the front seat and turned the ignition on. Pulling back onto the road, he turned the vehicle around and began driving in the direction Dameon was walking.

Just as he was to pass the other young man, he slowed to a crawl and rolled down the window.

"Watch your ass, Dameon," he said as he drove past, the words accented by a quick acceleration as he drove off towards the city. His tone held little threat, as the words might have implied. Instead, it was a simple closing.
